Bruce spent 30 years as a high school music teacher, the majority at East Northumberland Secondary School (ENSS), in Brighton ON. Over his career he was a music director for over 25 music theatre productions at ENSS, as well as for the Northumberland Players. He also founded and was director of the popular performing group Razzmajazz for 25 years.
In his retirement Bruce has kept busy playing keyboards, percussion and bass guitar in rock, jazz, pit and concert bands.
Maria's passion for music and theatre began at ENSS, where she sang in the Razzmajazz choir and performed in both school musicals, including a lead role as Amayzing Mayzie in Seussical. Her high school involvement in the arts led her to study Theatre Production at Ryerson University, launching her career as a Stage Manager. Now working for a major event company, she produces fan experiences worldwide for MLB, NHL, Live Nation, Twitch, and more. Maria is excited to bring her expertise home to Brighton, helping to grow community theatre in her hometown.
Lyn had the privilege of being one of Bruce’s former music students and was heavily involved with the music department and theatrical productions while attending ENSS. She studied Theatre Production Arts in college and discovered her passion for costume and prop design. Lyn has earned regional and international recognition within the International Costumers Guild with her creations. These days, Lyn can usually be found with a craft in her hands while listening to a True Crime podcast or playing her saxophone with the Brighton All Stars Concert Band.
